Here’s a generic list of items needed to process your mortgage application (not everything shown is needed).
The Silver Mortgage Application is easy to use. You can complete it on your schedule.
Work on your mortgage application whenever it’s convenient for you.

Here’s a sample of the items that you might be asked for after completing the application online:
Personal & Income
- Completed and signed/dated Residential Loan Application
- Most recent 30 days paystubs
- Last 2 years of Personal Tax Returns
(Include all pages and schedules, sign/date copy with filing date) - Most recent 2 years W2s (if in school or a life event during that time, let us know)
- Copy of Social Security Benefits statement, Disability statement, or any similar income source
- Photocopy of Driver’s License
(If not a US citizen, also provide a copy of Visa/EAD/Green Card)
Self-Employed Borrowers
- Most Recent 2 years of Business Tax Returns
(All pages and schedules, including K1s on all Schedule E business interests) and 1099s (if applicable) - Year-to-Date Profit and Loss Statement for Business
Assets
- Most recent 60 days (2 months) of bank and asset account statements
(All pages, even if blank) - Most recent statement for Stocks, Bonds, Investment accounts, 401(k), and Mutual Funds
Property & Liabilities
- If Buying: Executed Purchase Contract with a copy of the Earnest Money canceled check (both sides)
- If Refinancing: Copy of Property Survey and current mortgage statement
- Mortgage statement for any existing mortgages
- Leases and Contracts on all owned Rental Property
- Name and Phone Number for Homeowners Insurance Company and Agent
- Name and Phone Number of Apartment Complex or Landlord (if currently renting)
Legal (If Applicable)
- All pages of the Divorce Decree, Child Support Agreement, Bankruptcy Filing, and Discharge
Estimated Third-Party Fees (paid by applicant as shown below):
- Tri-merged mortgage credit report (actual cost – no markups)
Approximately $95-$145, depending on loan type and number of borrowers); due upon application for loan pricing/underwriting - Appraisal (actual cost – no mark-ups)
(Approximately $595 (+/-) for a conventional mortgage) Due upon receiving acceptable appraisal quotes according to the ‘Home Valuation Code of Conduct Guidelines.’
